Joining OFFB (The Operator’s Association for Emergency Response) gives our team access to an experienced emergency response network as we prepare for future operations. We look forward to working closely with the team at OFFB and the rest of the operator community.

Concedo is pleased to announce the acquisition of a 25% interest in the Fenja and Vidsyn assets (PL 586 and PL 586 B) from Vår Energi. This transaction marks a major milestone for the company, increasing Concedo’s pro forma daily production in Q2 2026 from 1 200 to 3 200 boepd.

Concedo was pre-qualified as a licencee in 2007, and has since then been awarded licence shares in the annual concession rounds (APA rounds). Both the 20. and 21. Concession rounds have also resulted in awards.
Value has been created by selling discoveries prior to development, thus avoiding capital-intensive investments in field development. The Company’s strategy has been expanded to also include the acquisition of producing assets.
The first such asset was acquired in 2024, and the Company is eager to buy additional producing assets to reach a level of 5 - 10 000 boe/d. Some discoveries may also be developed into production. However, Concedo’s strategy will still be to preserve its financial strength and be regarded as an attractive partner by other oil & gas companies, and at the same time to consider selling or swapping discoveries when this is appropriate.
In January 2026, Concedo was offered its first operatorship. The Company has initiated a targeted programme to strengthen its organizational capacity, operational readiness and management system maturity and thus ensure compliance with the regulatory framework and the expectations placed on NCS operators. The first drilling operations may take place in 2028.
