Dirk van der Wels experience embraces work in prospect evaluation, reservoir evaluation, applied geo-statistics and evaluation of probability for discoveries on the Norwegian continental shelf and also internationally. He has worked on a number of oil and gas fields, siliciclastic as well as carbonate reservoirs. He graduated in geology with mineralogy at the University of Oslo in 1974.
